The annual league table, which is published for the tenth year this weekend, features Britain’s 100 private companies with the fastest growing profits measured over the last three years of latest available audited accounts.
This is the first time that SSP has been featured in the nationwide survey of the country’s most dynamic independent companies. SSP was ranked 79th in the league in recognition of an impressive annual profit growth over the three years to March 2008 of 54.66%.
David Rasche, SSP’s executive chairman, commented: “We are absolutely delighted to be featured in the league table. It’s great to get this sort of recognition for the way SSP has performed over recent years. I’d like to say thank you to all the business teams within SSP as this award would not have been possible without their support & drive over the last three years. Since SSP was formed seven years ago, the business has gone from strength to strength & we are grateful to have a very loyal customer base that helps us to deliver market leading IT solutions & services.”
This is the fourth award for SSP in less than six months, as David Rasche was named Business Leader of the Year at the Yorkshire Post Business Awards & Chairman of the Year at the 2009 Quoted Company Awards & SSP won the Deal of the Year for their £198.4m acquisition by Hellman & Friedman.
The Sunday Times PricewaterhouseCoopers Profit Track 100 is based on historical data, with October 2008 being the latest financial year end from which audited figures are featured.
